Spot and wind conditions​

Main wind season runs from April through November, peaking between June and September. Wind Strength: Generally 15–35+ knots during the trade wind season. Early/late season you’ll see ~12–25 knots, while the core months bring 20–30 knots or more.

Direction: The wind is typically side-shore to side-on shore from the southeast — reliable and good for both freeride and wave sessions. Conditions: The bay’s shallow, reef-protected waters offer flat to small waves depending on tide and swell, making it great for all levels. We will stay at the best kitesurfing spots in Norther Madagascar. Sakalava Bay and the Emerald Sea.

20th - 25th of June

5 night stay at Mada KIte Camp in Sakalava Bay.

We will stay in the sea view bungalows right on the kite spot

 

25th - 28th of June

3 night stay at beautiful Tao Resort.at Emerald Sea in the bungalows facing the sea.

• Morning Yoga/Mobility Session 7:30/8:00

• Breakfast 8:30- 9:00

• Kite coaching session in the small groups with video making

• Lunch break

• Free time to practice those freshly learned tricks

• Dinner

• Video analysis of the coaching session

Other activities
During our stay in Sakalava we will explore local wild life on the excursion to French Mountain located in Northern Madagascar. It is a premier spot for hiking, offering trails that showcase rare flora like baobabs and unique, diverse fauna such as lemurs, chameleons, and geckos. There will be also an optional full day tour to Amber Mountain beautiful high altitude
rainforst with stunning waterfalls and Red Tsingly the canyon's vibrant, colorful formations of red sandstone.

During our stay at Emerald Sea, we will do the boat trip to some stunning, hidden sandbanks.

Travelling and transfers

​

Most of the connections arrive to TNR in the afternoon, that’s why most probably everyone will
require overnight stay in TNR. We recommend a layover in Nosy Manga hotel, close to the
airport. In the morning on the 20th you will take your local flight to Diego Suarez Airport where we pick
you up from.

• Transfer from Diego Suarez airport to Madakitecamp hotel at Sakalava Bay on the 20th

• Transfer by car & boat from Sakalava to Tao Resort at Emerald Sea on the 25th

• 28th Transfer Back from Tao to the airport by boat & car
